Museum has earned place on the worlds art stage by putting together important shows such as Cezanne exibit (1997) and, recently a tightly focused show of Goya (2000)

The Ritz Theatres aim to play films which appeal to a discriminating audience - movies which portray people and experience in ways that bear a reasonable relationship to the way life is lived, or which possess elements of artistic merit or provide entertainment based on adult wit. The selection therefore frequently includes foreign films and independently produced ones.

Botanical Gardens, also known as "Du Pont Gardens". One of the world's premier destinations for the florally inclined. Gardens are located at 1050-acre former private estate of Piere S. Du Pont. They encompass 20 outdoor gardens, 20 indoor gardens, 4 acres of heated greenhouses, and 11,000 different types of plants.

In addition to well-designed permanent exhibits, dolphins wave, jump and flip in regularly scheduled shows at the Marine Mammal Pavilion.
