| Just qurious how much money would Catholic Church pay to falsify this "expert opinion"? Probably enough to make under-paid FSB agents change their expertise so slightly :) I would rather believe american opinion in this case. Also, the title of the article is misleading at best, and wrong at most - experts couldn't agree "that Christ was crucified", they concluded that "the shroud is possibly over 1000 years old" and that "it depicts a crucified man whose wounds are identical". BIG, big difference |

| Re: Amerikos' comment...Why would the church pay to have a false assessment made of a little known christian artifact, it is ridiculous to assume the church has the need to lie about Christ. people believe with or without such religious proofs of God.... To my mind why wouldn't God leave a gift, such as the Shroud, for his church & the faithful to marvel at. |
