I think you have misspelled "otechestvennaya voina", which means "patriotic war" - how media usually names WW2 in Russia
BTW - we have more than one "otechestvennaya voina" in history - first war was called this way is 1812 Napoleon war

It says "ÎÒÅ×ÅÑÒÂÅÍÍÀß ÂÎÉÍÀ", or Great Patriotic War - WW2 is not called "2nd World War" in Russia, instead it's called "Great Patriotic War".
