Russian girls first contact: incredibly proud

Hi,
As many of us, when I first started to learn about Russian girls I was certainly interested: many of them are beautiful, with class and a good education. I've been living in Vietnam and Thailand for a time, but I found out that, for a long relationship, a few things are really required (by me at least) that are a bit hard to find in girls here. This helped me to better understand what I need in a woman and, with my current information, I think Russian girls with university studies (I'm not trying to be picky, but remember that I'm looking for a life companion) are the right choice for a real, life-long relationship.
So, since I'm already 34 and time is running out, it's time to start acting right now. My surprise -and the reason to post this on this forum- came when I met the first Russian women in real life.
While staying in Hanoi, last weekend we went to a local night pub called Solace. Chances are that, if you have been in Hanoi, you know it: it's the only place open at 3 am (until the morning). It's a boat in the river (since in the land everything must close its doors at 11pm) with a long bridge to get into it.
There you can met many girls, some Vietnamese and many foreigners, traveling or working in Vietnam. Even if the place is a bit dark and the advise is to never go there alone, I found people to be friendly and the atmosphere was great: everyone was there to have a great time, not to have problems. I was speaking with British and German girls (some of them really beautiful) and it was really fun.
Then, later on the dance floor I saw a girl that made my jaw fall to the ground: she was gorgeous. I didn't know where she was from. It would be stupid for me to be a smart ass with her, so I tried to be just nice. I asked her where she was from and replied "FROM RUSSIA". I don't know if it was the accent, but I never heard anyone to state so proudly where he/she was from. I asked her where in Russia, and she just ignored the question. Later that night I saw her again, this time without a drink in her hand. I told her I was going to get a beer, and asked if she wanted one. She didn't even look at me, just said: "I don't drink beer" and moved away.
I didn't understand at all why she was being so rude, since I was being kind. I saw she had a friend, also really beautiful. I asked her if she was also from Russia and I got the same kind of answer. I moved on and went back to the other European girls. The night was fun again: laughs and good moments as that was what most of us wanted.
Two days later I came back to the same place with a Vietnamese friend. Truth be told, with the hope of meeting her again. I met a different Russian girl. My Vietnamese friend started to dance in from of her (he is the kind of guy who is really lucky with girls). She looked at him from the head to the feet and said "No" with her head. I never saw a girl do this. If that happened to me I just would die. My friend didn't care and moved on looking for another girl.
Later that night I went out to the bridge with several people from Europe I met to get some fresh air. I saw the girl there again. I moved close to her to start some kind of conversation. I don't remember what I asked, but it was something like "traveling or working here?". Three Russian guys who were with her completely overreacted in a second and I had them in front of me. people I met that night saw the situation and came to where I was. I must tell that in that moment I felt really happy to be European: it seems that we are from completely different countries but somehow we react together: soon I was with several Italian, Irish and French guys. The Russians just moved back to speak with the girl and left the pub. Later we moved to another place from a friend that could open it even so late. There the Irish guys showed us that they can't be beat drinking whisky 
So, sorry for the lengthy post, but I wanted you to know my state of mind: what you read on the Internet about Russian girls certainly is not this. The girls I met behave more like what you would expect from some kind of girls who are really conscious about her beauty in a bad way. In fact, it has *nothing* to do with what you read on the Internet. And the Russian guys, well, they fit the stereotype for them.
So, for me two things became clear:
- Russian girls are awesome. Not only beautiful but with class and style. I could kill for a girl like the one I met. Pictures in Internet, even if they are extremely beautiful, can't capture the class and style, how feminine a Russian girl is.
- Internet is not a reliable resource to learn about Russian women. Even if many webs tell you that, in general, they are open, friendly, etc, my opinion now is quite different.
I'm fully aware that this is a single case, and I can't generalize. But it's something real that happened to me and somehow it seemed to fit the girls ("beautiful women acting like divas"), so I'd really love to listen to opinions about it. Is this how *now* Russian girls behave? Is this to be expected in Russia?
A friend from Ukraine who works in my company told me that he moved from Ukraine to Spain for two reasons: the complete chaos Ukraine is now and the "hard men / beautiful girls who get you in trouble there". I feel somehow that I understand him now.
So please, tell me this is just an anecdote and a rare case.

All I can tell you is there are аsshоlеs in every country and you met some from Russia.

But can you confirm, in your own experience, that this is not the normal behavior to expect today in Russia?

It may be normal behaviour for some "nouveau riche" Russians but majority would not behave that way.

я там написал этому Хуянситу, чтобы тот не парился, что русские тетки трудные(в смысле недоступные) и много чего хотят.
Где тут Вигла увидела поливание грязью.. хрен знает. Может она хочет заявить что они легкодоступны и дешевы Ну у всех свои мнения
Думаю дело в другом. Я ведь потом ему посоветовал в Колумбию повеселиться с колумбийками. Вот это видимо и вывело Виглу из себя.

акакий, я про другие твои посты. у тебя уже зашкаливает "критика" в адрес русских женщин. а про конкуренцию ты прав. ходят здесь латиносски, тело-бочка, ноги - ножки от тумбочек, такие же кривые и квадратные. вот уж действительно конкурентки. а главное простые. не как мы. и ваще ничего не хотят по жизни.

ага, а здесь ты точно прав. были на их вечеринке de barrio с друзьями, супер! а спустя месяц попала на такую же, но каталонскую. даже сравнивать нельзя. поэтому мне и завидно будет, если чувак повеселится в колумбосии.

нет, далеко не новый способ. но это как раз не развод, а нормальное дело. развод - это всякое гавно что сталкивается в пиндастане - Лоствегассы и др. казины, Монхетаны, Диснейнтленды, и т.д.- где сплошной наебс и развод на шопинг, жратву, китайские сувениры и нах никому не нужные таймшарез по ценам в 5 раз выше рыночных
а в том буклете реальные путешествия, реальные пиполы, плюс цены никакие. яж там часто тусуюсь. образумившимся пиндосам нравитца.

Вигла где я критиковал русских женщин? ты перепутала меня с тренером/Леной и др. я наоборот писал какие они афигителные и красивые.

Вигла, легко! я просто плохо в них разбираюсь.
приежайте в колумбию, сделаем всем тур. также записывайся на романслатина.ком сайт. там есть и латинские мущины. скоро будет парти в Медейине.
латинские мушинны ксате очень любят русских женщин. знаю несколько пар. я так понял что там типа суперкруто иметь русскую жану. и русские женшины там тоже довольны. они там типа на вес золота, в почете
