Russian/American Married Couples in D.C. & Baltimore Areas

Please join "Capital Couples", a FREE electronic mailing list devoted to connecting married American/Russian couples living in Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and the surrounding environs.
When we say "Russian/American couples", we usually mean an American man married to a woman from one of the countries of the former Soviet Union (FSU). These countries include Russia, of course, and Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, among others.
 Our purposes include sharing information, helping one another, and coordinating joint social activities and events.

Hello,
My name is Keith, I married a Russian woman Natasha last year. We may live too far too participate in your group, we live in South Jersey, about 2 hours north of Baltimore.
I posted an ad on this site about her. She is 23, kind and friendly and our relationship is terrific, but she has only one good friend here so far and real trouble with homesickness. Please help if you can, I'm trying to find other Russian or American women nearby in Philadelphia or South Jersey for friendship and support for her. Any suggestions you have would be very helpful.

Quite a few of us here live in your area - Philly, South Jersey - Delaware. I could probably name about 5 couples like yours that I know.
Several suggestions:
1) Why don't you tell her about this site, maybe she can post and people will suggest something
2) We are thinking of creating an English-only forum on our site, for situations like this one. If this is of interest, or you have other ideas, don't hesitate to post it here.
