I am going to post credit card spammers and fraudulent product requests here. Hopefully somebody will be able to read this and not lose their money.

Almost immediately as you answer it, this guy is calling through Skype, trying to purchase expensive products using a stolen credit card. He also claims that "his people are going to do a pick-up". No contact info, company, country, other than free email address. He also claimed that he has a "client in Norway".
He's also persistent, given a "go away" he continues to spam trying to get to another Customer Service rep.

Instead of using the word loose[/] it should be lose
The word loose would be best used to describe,, uhh, like un-tightened shoe laces.
I'm not trying to be a Prick about it. I just thought that you would like to know the proper way to say it in a sentence.

It's easy, each email usually has an IP address of the sender, so you can trace his or her location. It's in the header, so normally you don't see it, that's why most people don't know it exists. Notice the word "usually", there are way too many exceptions. But the dumber fraudsters "usually" don't know that.
 Thanks for the spell check, sometimes I get a short-circuit. Don't get aggravated with folks here, IMHO people post in waves when they have time.

Here is the e-mail request I received--5/19/09--he supplied 2 differnet credit cards to split the cost. It went thru and we shipped. He placed an order for 3 more and all cards were declined and we then fould out about the scam.

eyegal, that's unfortunate to hear.
Any time a request like that comes in from a Free email address, and ESPECIALLY FOR LARGE PRODUCT OR MULTIPLE UNITS, we screen these first - so most get dropped immediately, and we train our Customer Service on these examples so the reps can identify and ignore these. Whatever passes first screen goes to a sales rep or to someone technical for second round of screening.
Usually if we can't identify user directly (company, address, legitimate phone/fax, company email address, etc.), and it does look legit we request additional information. Watch out for quick calls back via Skype - that's a sign that it is a foreign caller.
