Close to your belief, the russian orthodoxism, the Lippovan
You are so far…and in your heart there keep on coming back the russian churches and the lippovan churches, with their belfries that announce the old holidays and you simply want to see yourself again in front of their walls and in front of the icons, that keep on warming your soul. You want to regain your energy by lightning up a candle…you want to regain your hope for the better.
You are realy right. There is nothing in this world that could be compaired to the orthodoxism and the specific of the Gregorianism are the closest to our hearts. You simply can not deny it. I have travelled in the world of catolics and while doing this I could hardly have waited to come back to my small church, where the saint figures are warming my soul…
In my native town there is a church of russian friars, who have a pure soul and white and long beards and long hair, who wear the tipical shirt with that band tied just the way it is supposed to be. Their Belief is to gather all the russians and to take them to their God, to be closer to Him, to be protected by Him.
The friars make the special incriptures of the holly russian church: the rosary and the peakless cap, that the women are wearing under the headkerchief at the religious moments, when they pray.
Exactly what my mother is doing: she is lightning up a candle each evening in front of the icon, by wearing the peakless cap under the headkerchief. She takes into her hands the rosary and prays and God follows her whereever she goes and whatever she does and my mother has her peace.
Don’ t you want to have your own? If you would like to, you can have your own rosary and peakless cap from the friars. They are holly and thy carry your peace.
