I filed asylum case in 2003, got recommended approval, didnt hear anything for 3 years and after requested status of the case got removal letter in 2006!!! based on private investigation. Hired lawyer, went to court, but judge extended my case 3 times already, because he cant decide what to do with me. I've requested copy of the case from Nebraska, but i didnt find any info in there except filed docs, nothing about mysterious investigation . Now i got married to my long term boyfriend, we have a baby daughter and i dont know what to do with my asylum case. It've been 5 years with no straight answer. Can i request to close asylum case and reapply for marriage or should i stick with original?

Подавайте документы по браку, а кейс на убежище тот же судья должен закрыть.

Your lawyer should file a motion to terminate your asylum case/removal proceedings and ask the Judge to proceed with adjustment of status through marriage.
