AIM is AOL Instant Messenger. It's an instant message software.
You can also chat instantly with fellow folks from RusUSA in our chat room: Russian Chat.
That works for anyone anywhere in the world, because it is in your browser. You'd have to agree with people on what time you want to get online. There's an Invite friends to Chat form there where you can send people email.
Just want to warn. Posting your AIM or any other Messenger/email coordinates in here is asking for it to be abused. It is an open forum, and obviously there are people lurking around for email/AIM addresses to spam  You can put messenger IDs in My RusUSA profile. At this point noone else can see them, but we are planning to add that feature in the near future.
