Yes if you bough it at gypsy's seller. If you are buying in normel shop you won't get the problem. For years I bough just one stuff which broke in a 6 month arter the buying. I give it back in the shop we filled all paprs and I gave new unit. It takes 30 minutes. They even di not check it acurately. Just swichet it on. No operate. Ok. Guranty is not exiperd. What you want money back or something else? Any way i needed any DVD recorder. So I choosed other stuff. That was movie theatre Sharp I exchanged it on JBL. Last one works hard. Real typical amercan stuff with aluminium remote control weight aprox. 2 lbs! Realy 2 lbs... That's no joke. It's 12 inches tall. Onece I drop it down on my leg... huuh that was terrible. Next time that RC breach the parquetry flooring in my appt's. That stuff is a real cold arm! I like it! So if you will not have a troubles iwith your buings in the future you need be choosely in places you purchase e-stuff. Any way if you are buying the cheapest things, you must presume that these are not reliable and durable. That rule works everywhere in US, in Europe, in Russia of cos. So blame on you if you do it for tin or in the strange places.

Well, no Al. It wasn't cheap. It was $180.00. I bought it at Circuit City. They wouldn't do a thing for me. So I called Sandisk. They acknowledged that there was indeed a problem with the device. I asked for an R.A.#. sandisk told me to fix it on my computer. They said we will instruct you over the phone. When I explained that I have no phone. They said too bad. When I tried to reason with them, that it was just as easy to send it back to them, have them fix or replace. They said. That's not how we do things. So, if you are looking for an mp3 player? Stay away from both Circuit City, and, Sandisk. Both of those companies are of the no-service, service.
