Need help, student visa expired, have I-20

Hi my name is julia.Sorry cant type in russian . i;ve live in new york for 2 years . My student visa F1 is expired but i have i-20 so i;m here legally and studying english at language school . im almost enrolled in college and i m supposed to get a letter from them soon , but my classes don't start till september 2007 so if i get a letter in march i'm enrolled and it means that i am a full time student . I want to go back to russia and apply for a new visa , so what are my chances to get one and come back here . i know its really risky .And is there a chance to get a new visa here in the states?

If you were officially legal here all the time, i.e. didn't break any visa laws, you can get another visa. Of course, there will be "single female" issue...and if you were at least for a short period illegal, say your chances "good bye"

Пишу с будуна , могут быть очепятки.
Но по порядку . Прокатывает такой вариант .
Студент /ка / берет академ отпуск в своем ВУЗе .
Далее , мандячит на занятие в Америке .
Это какой то лоховый институт повышения квалификации или приобретения другой специальности . Обходится это в пределах , .... за пару лет лон выплатит . Но зато студент в Америке получает студентческую визу .
За это время можно забабахать драйвер лайсенс и подавать бумаги для дальнейшего ..... если захочется . Но !!!!
Все официально !!!
Можно и домой рвануть .

Бля точно пережрал . Это все этот гребанный французский коньяк . Сам не знаю на что я намекал . Не помню уже .
А впрочем хер их всех знает что у них в голове . Сначала хотят одно , потом другое .

sherif ! I ve been here legally all the time .I mean i've had student status. I understand there 's a HUGE risc but why can't i just go back to russia and get a new visa . Is there anybody here who actually had similar experience ,cause you all just guessing , i need some statistics .

It's" Manhattan language" . Im not sure about the exact address but it's 30 st and between 6 and 7 av , New York , NY . You can google it . It the best school in Manhattan , trust me .

а вообще в Россию, конечно, рискованно возвращаться и лучше не надо и Посольство не предсказуемое - надо думать как без России обойтись

if you get accepted to college, your chance to get a student visa is high. "Single female" issue is not an issue for a student visa, just for a tourist one.
However, you do not have to go back to Russia and apply for a new visa. If you've been here on F-1, you probably got "DS" sign on your I-94. this means "duration of stay". So, as long as you are here in a student status, you are fine. All you need to worry about is a new I-20 and a new SEVIS record that the college must create. Even if your stay was authorized for a specific period untill certain date, instead of "DS", you can still file for an extension of your stay before the current one expires.
If you do really need to go back to Russia, you have a good chance to get a new student visa, just make sure that you have all proper docuemnts from college + financial supoort.
