MARRIED TO AN AMERICAN.TRYING TO DO ALL PAPPER WORK BYMYSELF, WITH NO LAWER.ALREADY DONE WITH I-130&I-485.WANT TO APLY FOR EAD Work Authorization .IS IT I-765?IF SO I AM CONFUSED WHAT TO WRIGHT IN SECTION 16(ELIGIBILITY CATEGORIES).WAS ELLEGAL FOR 2 YEARS( my j-1 had been expiried )WHEN GOT MARRID.

Section 13
16. Go to Part 2 of the Instructions, Eligibility Categories. In the space below place the letter and number of the category you selected from the instructions. (For example, (a)(8); (c)(17)(iii); etc.)
USE this (C) (09) ( )
That's fine as long as you married in the time allowed, just file the I-765, but you should have filed it with your I-485. send all payments with it and send it with return receipt so you know they got it.

realy helpful information.it turned out to be so simle.i used to study law in russia. so i know a little bit about this stuff.just being too nervouse going through all this process won't let me concantrate on papper work.in cases like that we need help from outside. thanks.
Oh .may be u know where i can get the information about the interview,what they ask,what proof is needed,how to prepair yourself.there is a lot of forums and also books(wich cost money). but what i need is a practical helper.

Magy Glad to help, any more Questions feel free to ask, and welcome to America, hope everything works out for you and your husband.
As far as this Book don't get as it is not worth it, you have me, I am a book. (-: As far as the Interview, you have time, after the interview you will get a Permanent resident green card and be able to do as you wish.
You will be asked stupid Question like what color is your husband Pajamas, You should of had your medical done in Russia, or what country your from. just Relax and be yourself, and smile a lot as they can be real Jerks some of them.
Now all you have to do is Enjoy your new life here, hopefully you live some were nice. if you run into problems while here, even if it a problem with your husband I can give you some support forums that are very helpful, other women that have been there and are there to help.. hopefully this will never be the case.
Any more Questions you have feel free to ask and it is good Ideal to keep your real name and not take his last name, as I am sure you have family in Russia and Russian Passport and if you own a apartment or flat that you rent out while here it would cause problems and be a pain to change it all as you should know being a lawyer and all.
Again any more Question feel free to ask.

I read you masses., it is seems that you can help. I just got my polit. assylum, wish documets should I do? where? can I ask about financial help etc? Where shoul I ask aBOUT travel passport and etc?
