Great topic.. changing names to change ones destiny. Give me some ideas (anyone) i'm rather weary of the Lisa destiny <smiles> perhaps something feirce like a tigress and gentle like a cub ...although the sweetest kittens have the sharpest claws you know.  Really though, I don't know if anyone would get an acknowledgement if they were to call me by anything other than Lisa. I've been hearing and responding to it for so many years, i'm not sure I could be reconditioned at this point in the play.

It is a Russian joke. Shtirlic is a Russian spy in Germany during WW2, according to one very popular movie. So, if you are a spy, you need to change your name to match the surrounding society. On the other hand this movie was played so many times and it is so unrealistic, that a lot of jokes were made of it. So it is time to change his name again.
